The Saharun Beach on Dugi Otok is well-known as one of the loveliest sandy beaches in Croatia. A private speedboat will escort you there, under the navigational skills of an experienced skipper who will familiarize you with the interesting occurrences that took place in this part of the Mediterranean.
We will have a look at the Church of St. Pelegrino dating back to the 9th century, the remains of a 70- meter-long military tunnel, which is also the location of shipwrecked merchant vessels from the Middle Ages, so please bring along your diving mask if you want to take a closer look. We will reach the Saharun beach 2 hours after our departure, and now we will have plenty of time to swim and sunbathe on the beach. Simply relax and enjoy the magnificent scenery. Upon our return, we will loop around the other side of Dugi Otok, passing its famous 160 m high cliffs which align beside its medicinal Salt Lake “Mir” (pronounced “meer”) - (meaning “peace”).
