General Data Protection Act (GDPR)

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of 25 May 2018, as the date of application of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, marks a new approach to the issue of personal data protection where formal fulfillment of certain legal requirements is no longer sufficient.

The provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and other applicable regulations should be understood as the need to introduce a permanent process of control and protection in the procedures for the collection, processing and use of personal data in order to ensure lawful, fair and transparent processing.
